สตางค์-บาท ไทย : เหรียญนี้เป็นเหรียญที่อยู่ในกลุ่ม 10 อันดับ เหรียญหายาก ร.9 ค่อนข้างหายาก จัดลำดับหายากเป็นอันดับที่ 3 เป็นแบบอักษรบางเท่านั้น เส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง 20.5 มิลลิเมตร น้ำหนัก 2.50 กรัม ลักษณะเหรียญกลม ขอบเฟือง วันที่ประกาศใช้ 18 มีนาคม พ.ศ.2500 ชนิดราคา 25 สตางค์
ด้านหน้า เป็นพระบรมรูปพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ครึ่งพระองค์ผินพระพักตร์เบื้องซ้าย ด้านซ้ายมีพระปรมาภิไธย “ภูมิพลอดุลยเดช” ด้านขวามีคำว่า “รัชกาลที่ ๙”
ด้านหลัง เป็นรูปตราแผ่นดินสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 เบื้องบนมีคำว่า “รัฐบาลไทย” เบื้องล่างมีอักษรและเลขไทย “พ.ศ.๒๕๐๐” ด้านซ้ายมีเลขไทยบอกราคา ด้านขวามีอักษรย่อ “สต.”
ส่วนผสม : ร้อยละ ทองแดง91 อลูมีเนียม 9 เหรียญกษาปณ์ชนิด 25 สตางค์ รัชกาลที่ 9 ปี พ.ศ. 2500 เป็นเหรียญเนื้อชนิดอลูมิเนียมบรอนซ์ ผลิตออกมา 2 บล็อกด้วยกัน คือ บล็อกที่เป็นตัวหนังสือบาง และ ตัวหนังสือหนา(ปกติ) สังเกตได้ไม่ยากจากจุดเปรียบเทียบตามภาพด้านบนนี้ ซึ่งเหรียญ 25 สตางค์ชนิดตัวหนังสือบาง ได้ถูกจัดให้อยู่ลำดับ 3 จาก 10 อันดับเหรียญกษาปณ์หมุนเวียนหายากในรัชกาลที่ 9 จึงเป็นที่ต้องการของเหล่านักสะสมทั้งรุ่นเล็ก รุ่นใหญ่ ปัจจุบันหายากและราคาสูง

Thai Satang-Baht : This coin is among the top 10 coins, rare coins of Rama IX, quite rare. Ranked as rare as 3rd in thin fonts only. Diameter 20.5 mm. Weight 2.50 g. Coin shape, round rim, date of publication 18 March 1957, price 25 satang.
In front is a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. His half turned his face to the left. On the left is a royal monogram. “Bhumibol Adulyadej” on the right side has the words “Rama IX”
On the reverse side, there is a royal coat of arms in the reign of King Rama V, on the top there is the word “Thai Government”, the lower part has Thai letters and numbers “B.E. 2500”, the left side has Thai numbers telling the price. The right side has the abbreviation “Sort.”
Ingredients : Copper 91 percent, Aluminum 9, 25 satang coin, Rama IX Year 1957, is an aluminum bronze coin, produced in 2 blocks which are thin lettered block and thick lettered block. (Normal) It is not difficult to notice from the comparison point in the picture above. Being ranked 3rd out of the top 10 rare circulating coins in the reign of King Rama IX, it is highly sought after by both small and large collectors.
